Galatasaray have joined the race to sign Abel Hernandez, as reported by The72 earlier.
This is a real blow for Championship side Leeds United who have made the Uruguayan international their top target for the summer.
Hernandez announced last week that he was leaving Hull City at the expiry of his contract at the end of the month, meaning he is available on a free transfer. He had played for the Tigers for four years and had scored 39 goals in 111 games.
Galatasaray are in the Champions League next season and the opportunity to play in Europe and the Turkish top flight as opposed to the second tier of England could potentially turn Hernandez’s head.
This is still a story that will continue to change and speculation about Hernandez’s destination will increasingly hot up.
