Reading have been busy making signings recently, with Andy Yiadom, David Meyler and John O’Shea all joining the club. Here are five more players they should sign-

Tom Bradshaw, Barnsley- He could leave Barnsley this summer after they were relegated from the Championship last season. The Wales international is proven in the second tier and has scored a combined 20 goals in the past two seasons at this level.

Sam Baldock, Brighton and Hove Albion- The experienced striker is another option for Reading. He only featured 5 times for Brighton last season in the Premier League and could become available. Baldock has scored goals in the Championship before and would offer the Royals another dimension going forward.

Henri Lansbury, Aston Villa- Villa could be forced to sell some players this summer to balance their books and Lansbury would be perfect for Reading. He only played 10 games for Villa last season in the Championship but is proven at this level. Lansbury played over 150 games for Nottingham Forest prior to his move to Villa Park.

John Egan, Brentford- The 25-year-old defender should join his fellow Republic of Ireland internationals, John O’Shea and David Meyler, in moving to the Madejski Stadium. Egan has been in impressive form for Brentford over the past couple of seasons and would strengthen Reading’s defence.

Max Clark, Hull City- The left-back is attracting attention from various Championship clubs with his contract at Hull expiring at the end of the month. He has broken into the Tigers’ first-team this season and is being tipped for a big future. Reading should monitor his situation.
