Five free agents Hull City should sign this summer

Hull City are in need of some reinforcements to their squad this summer to avoid struggling in the Championship next season. Here are five players they could sign-

Adam Hammill- The experienced winger has left Barnsley on a free transfer and is an option for Hull. He would offer the Tigers another midfield option and has genuine quality at Championship level. He has previously played for Liverpool, Huddersfield Town and Wolves.

Sammy Ameobi- He is still yet to sign a new deal at Bolton Wanderers with his current contract due to expire at the end of the month. Ameobi impressed for the Trotters last season and was a key reason as to why they stayed in the Championship under Phil Parkinson. The 26-year-old joined them on a free transfer from Newcastle United last summer.

David McGoldrick- The 30-year-old striker is a free agent after leaving Ipswich Town at the end of the campaign. The former Notts County, Southampton, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Coventry City man is another option for Hull City. He has managed 95 goals in 379 career league appearances and is also a Republic of Ireland international with 6 caps to his name.

Nedum Onuoha- Hull are in need of some defensive signings this summer following the departure of Michael Dawson to Nottingham Forest and Chelsea trio Fikayo Tomori, Ola Aina and Michael Hector all going back. Onuoha, who is 31 years-old, has bags of experience and would be a shrewd piece of business by Nigel Adkins.

Jack Robinson- He still has not signed a new contract at QPR and could become a free agent. Hull should monitor his situation as he would be perfect for them. Robinson, who used to play for Liverpool, can play as either a centre-back or a left-back impressed in the Championship last season for QPR. He would bolster the Tigers’ defence for the upcoming campaign.
