Earlier today, the72 reported that Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson had been stirring up rumours about his future again whilst speaking to the Swedish media.
Jansson is one of the key members of the current Leeds United squad and last summer there was a lot of reported interest from Premier League clubs, with fees of over £15 million being banded around but there was never anything concrete concerned.
These rumours came just a matter of weeks after he had signed on a permanent deal from Italian side Torino for £3.5 million.
Jansson’s conversation with the Swedish media will not come as a surprise to many Leeds United fans.It seems that everytime he goes on international duty, he raises his concerns about the ambitions of the Yorkshire club.
However, there is something more serious this time, with the central defender confirming he will be sitting down to discuss his future after the World Cup in Russia this summer.
Here is a look at how the Leeds United fans reacted to Pontus Jansson’s latest comments:
This Leeds United supporter would not be too upset if Leeds United let their Swedish defender leave the club as long as they got a fee in the region of £10 million.
Every player has a price and I think if Leeds do receive a decent transfer fee for Pontus Jansson then they will let him go.. £10m+ could tempt them to sell.. #lufc #mot

With all of the changes that could potentially happen at Leeds United, this fan cannot understand why Pontus Jansson may want to leave the club.

This supporter was quick to defend Pontus Jansson, stating that he only said what everyone else is feeling.
Why are people having a go at Jansson for answering a Swedish journo that he wants LUFC to be more ambitious? Surely that’s what everyone wants #LUFC

This fan’s love for Pontus Jansson is quickly fading, and he does not think the Swede will be at the club next summer.
Thing is with Jansson, I loved him the season before last and got wrapped up in his crowd pumping but it says a lot about a man who does it when we’re winning but first down the tunnel when we lose. Feigning injuries etc…won’t be her next season #lufc
