Five Hull City players who will get first-team chances next season

It is set to be another summer of transition at Hull City with plenty of comings and goings (mainly goings) expected. Here are five of their players who will get first-team chances next season-

Dan Batty- He is highly-rated by the Tigers and could be seen a lot in the next campaign. He featured on four different occasions for Hull City last season as well as having a loan spell at National League side FC Halifax Town. Batty is expected to make a breakthrough, similarly to what Jarrod Bowen and Max Clark did last season, into Nigel Adkins’ first-team plans.

Will Mannion- The 20-year-old goalkeeper will be competing with David Marshall for the number on spot next season. He joined the Tigers in July 2016 from AFC Wimbledon and has been a key player for Hull’s Under-23s side. Mannion made his first-team debut last August against Doncaster Rovers in the League Cup.

James Weir- He was brought to the KCOM Stadium by Mike Phelan in August 2016 from Manchester United but has found first-team opportunities hard to come by. He has played just seven times so far in his Hull career but could see his chances improve next season. Weir is versatile and can be used anywhere in midfield.

Will Keane- He joined Hull at the same time as Weir from Manchester United but his time with the Tigers has been affected by injury. He managed to break back into the team at the end of last season after returning from injury and will be hoping to stay fit in what could be a big season for him in the Championship next year.

Tyler Hamilton- The 19-year-old signed a new two-year deal with Hull in February and could break into the team next season. He joined the Tigers at the age of 8 and made his first-team debut in August against Doncaster Rovers but is still yet to play in the Championship.
