Wolves joint favourites to sign 75 cap international

If reports are to be believed, it is quite clear that Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to sign a goalkeeper this summer.

They have been linked with a number of goalkeepers who all have Premier League experience, with Jack Butland and Alex McCarthy just a couple of names that have been mentioned.

They have also shown an interest in Sporting Lisbon and Portugal goalkeeper Rui Patricio, who has won the European Championships, and boasts an array of top flight and Champions League experience.

Another goalkeeper that they have been linked with is Joe Hart, who is currently on the books at Premier League champions Manchester City. That being said, he has spent the last two seasons on loan, playing for Italian side Torino in 2016/17, and Premier League side West Ham for the 2017/18 campaign.

He fell out of favour at Manchester city when Pep Guardiola took over, with the Spaniard bringing in Claudio Bravo and then Ederson.

This means that there is no space on the books for Joe Hart, and the Citizens are set to sell him permanently this summer.

And it seems that Wolves stand a good chance of bringing the goalkeeper, who had made 75 appearances for England, to their club.

Bet Victor have made the Black Country club joint favourites to sign the goalkeeper, with odds of 6/1.

They are joint favourites with West Ham United, where Hart spent the season on loan. Furthermore, Manuel Pellegrini is the new manager at the London Stadium, and Hart was his goalkeeper during his Premier League title victory at Manchester City.
