Swansea City, West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City are all interested in signing Aston Villa ace Jack Grealish according to several reports.
All three teams were relegated from the Premier League in the 2017/18 campaign, and are currently preparing for life back in the second tier of English football.
Relegation from the top flight is always a difficult one to take, but all three clubs will receive excessive parachute payments for last season, and all three are reportedly looking to bring in Grealish with the money they will receive.
The Aston Villa man was just 90 minutes away from the Premier League with the Midlands club, but Steve Bruce’s side were beaten 1-0 in the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley.
Villa boss Steve Bruce has confirmed that he is desperate to keep hold of Grealish, but admits that it will be difficult after their Wembley heartbreak.
As well as the three aforementioned relegated sides, Premier League giants Manchester United also have a reported interest according to the Birmingham Mail, but it is hard to see Grealish getting first team football at Old Trafford, so a move to either Swansea, West Brom or Stoke may benefit his career more than a move to the North West and Manchester United.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been at Aston Villa since the age of six, joining the club’s academy. He has appeared just over 100 times for the club, and is a fan favourite at Villa Park.
The Villa faithful will be desperate to keep hold of their star man, but following Play-Off defeat, the club may have to cash in on Grealish.
