Five players Paul Hurst could sign for Ipswich Town

Paul Hurst has been appointed the new manager of Ipswich Town. He has left League One side Shrewsbury Town for the Championship outfit. Here are five players he could sign for the Tractor Boys-

Jon Nolan, Shrewsbury Town- Hurst managed Nolan at Grimsby Town and signed him for Shrewsbury Town last summer. The 26-year-old midfielder has been in fine form for the Shrews in League One this season and will be a man in demand over the coming months. It is likely that he will be high on Hurst’s list of targets.

Dean Henderson, Manchester United- The highly-rated shot stopper has been on loan at Shrewsbury this season and has been excellent for them. Hurst signed Henderson on loan from Manchester United for Grimsby and Shrewsbury and could try and sign him for Ipswich. However, there will be other interest in him this summer.

Omar Bogle, Cardiff City- He is likely to leave Cardiff City after their promotion to the Premier League. Hurst was in charge of Bogle at his most prolific spell in his career so far at Grimsby where he scored 38 goals in 83 games. He is a potential option for Hurst at Ipswich.

Aristote Nsiala, Shrewsbury Town- He is another who Hurst has managed at both Grimsby Town and Shrewsbury Town. The 26-year-old, formerly of Everton, Hartlepool United and Accrington Stanley, has impressed for Shrews this season and could be ready for the step up to the Championship now.

Bryn Morris, Shrewsbury Town- The 22-year-old was brought to Shrewsbury by Hurst in January from Middlesbrough. Morris spent time on loan at Burton Albion, Coventry City, York City and Walsall during his time at the Riverside. He has a bright future ahead of him and would bolster Ipswich’s midfield options.
