Swansea City and Derby County keen on Dundee midfielder

Swansea City and Derby County are both interested in signing Dundee midfielder Glen Kamara, as per a report by Derbyshire Live.

The 22-year-old has impressed this season and Dundee are hoping to tie him down a new contract. However, they will face competitions to hold onto him with Rangers and Celtic are also keen on the Scottish Premier League star.

Swansea City are being linked with Kamara. The Swans, who are set to appoint Ostersunds boss Graham Potter as their manager, are looking to bolster their squad this summer to prepare for a promotion campaign next season.

Derby County are also being credited with an interest. They are also in the hunt for a new manager after Gary Rowett left them to join Stoke City. They see Kamara as someone who would boost their midfield and help them bounce back from their Play-Off disappointment.

Kamara has been a stand-out player for Dundee this season and has played 46 games in all competitions for them. He has also made 3 caps for Finland.

He started his career at Southend United before moving to Arsenal in 2012. He made his debut for the Gunners in August 2015 against Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup. Kamara had loan spells away from the Emirates at Southend United and Colchester United.

He then left Arsenal on a permanent basis to join Dundee on a two-year deal last summer but could be set for a move back to England over the coming months.
