Aberdeen are keen on signing Peterborough United’s Chris Forrester and Jack Baldwin, according to the Peterborough Telegraph.

Both have been placed on the transfer list ahead of the summer and are attracting interest from the Scottish Premier League side. Peterborough are set for a summer of transition with them transfer listing a number of first-team players.

Forrester joined the Posh in 2015 from St Pats in Ireland and has been a key player for them in League One ever since. He has played over 100 games for the London Road side.

The 25-year-old midfielder started his career in Ireland and made his name after spells at Bohemian and St Pats. He has also been a regular for Republic of Ireland’s under-23s.

Jack Baldwin, on the other hand, is one who has been attracting interest from clubs in the Championship over the past year after impressing for Peterborough in League One. The 24-year-old signed for the Posh in 2014 for around £500,000 from Hartlepool United and he has played for them for five consecutive seasons in League One.

Both Forrester and Baldwin would be big loses for Peterborough this summer as they are both seen as important signings. They would both be decent signings for Aberdeen though as they look to compete at the top end of the Scottish Premier League next season under former Bristol City boss Derek McInnes.
