Leeds United and Fulham are just two of the clubs being linked with a move for Sheffield Wednesday striker Fernando Forestieri.
Bookmakers BetVictor have implied that both the Cottagers and the Yorkshire club are interested in the Argentinian born Italian, giving them odds of 4/1 and 8/1 respectively.
Forestieri has been at current club Sheffield Wednesday since August 2015, when he left Watford following their promotion to the Premier League.
The Owls signed him on what was supposed to be an undisclosed fee, but has been reported to be somewhere in the region of £3 million.
The striker enjoyed a successful start to his Sheffield Wednesday career, scoring 15 goals in his debut season, helping the Owls to the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final, but they were beaten 1-0 by Hull City.
The following season was also a successful one for the former Italian youth international. He scored 12 goals, again taking Sheffield Wednesday to the Play-Offs, but this time they were beaten in the Semi Finals by eventual winners Huddersfield Town.
Fernando Forestieri struggled a lot with injury this season. He picked up an injury back in August, and did not return to first team action until March, scoring a goal in his first game back against Preston North End.
Once back in the team, Forestieri started getting back among the goals. He scored a brace against Reading, and picked up a goal and an assist in his side’s final game of the Sky Bet Championship season against Norwich City.
Other clubs who are said to be interested are Birmingham City, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough.
