Cardiff City striker Kenneth Zohore has been voted by you as the 45th best player in the EFL.
Over the last month, we have been gathering votes from you to find the best managers and players in the EFL. And after counting the votes, we have discovered you think that Zohore is the 45th best player in the Football League. This is the first time that he has been on the Top 50 Players countdown.
For a while, it seemed like Zohore might end up like a lot of foreign imports. A guy with obvious talent but one that just couldn’t apply it effectively in the rough and tumble league of the Sky Bet Championship. But sometimes you just have to give players time to adjust and that’s what Cardiff did with Zohore. And this season, it paid off as he ended up being a fantastic striker for them.
This season he was a regular, scoring nine goals in 39 appearances. He also contributed with assists which show how much of a team Cardiff were and how that was one of the reasons they got promoted to the Premier League this season. His pace was a constant nuisance for teams across the country and he had starring performances against the likes of Burton Albion, Brentford and Barnsley this season which persuaded plenty of people to vote for him to feature on this list.
Zohore will get a chance to play in the Premier League next season where he could make his name even bigger.
