2) Derby County – 4/1:
Derby County are joint favourites with Nottingham Forest to capture Marcus Maddison. Similarly to Aston Villa, it will depend on whether or not they achieve promotion to the Premier League, but if they don’t it is easy to see them losing a number of their players, and Maddison could comfortably step in and replace the likes of Matej Vydra.
1) Nottingham Forest – 4/1:
Peterborough United have a history when it comes to transfers with Nottingham Forest. They sold Britt Assombalonga to them recently, and also had a run-in with them over the transfer of George Boyd a number of years ago. Kieran Dowell was one of Forest’s top players this season, but he is set to return to parent club Everton, and Marcus Maddison is a very similar player to Dowell, and he could fill his boots.
