Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has been voted by you as the best manager in the EFL.

Over the last month, we have been gathering votes from you to find the best managers and players in the EFL. And after counting the votes, we have found that you think Espirito Santo is the best manager in the Football League. This is the first time he has been on the Top 20 Managers countdown.
When Espirito Santo was appointed as the Wolves manager at the start of this season, fans thought they knew what was coming. It was a very similar move to bring in Walter Zenga the year before and he ended up being a complete flop. When Paul Lambert is a serious improvement, you know you have really buggered up the recruitment process. But Espirito Santo ended up proving those doubters wrong.
He was able to bring together one of the most expensively put together squads in Sky Bet Championship history, which is much tougher than some people give credit for as you have to handle many big personalities who could likely buy you out of house and home if they wanted to, and give them a style of play not many could handle. And they were quite frankly untouchable and never looked like budging from the top spot in the Championship, getting promoted with ease in the process.
Next season Espirito Santo will want to prove he’s not a one season wonder and keep Wolves in the Premier League.
