Ian Holloway exclusively revealed to NewsAtDen that Jean-Eudes Maurice did not make the cut at Millwall.
Speaking about the Frenchman Ollie said “Maurice I’ve let go, what I’m looking for is very specific. with his age and where he is I didn’t want to waste any more of his time.”
He also added “If Fred Onyedinma has looked a bit sharper and better than him then the boy isn’t going to get a chance, is he?”
Meanwhile, Magaye Gueye has had his trial extended by The Lions boss. “This other kid (Gueye) I think he has got a lot of ability and maybe we can polish him up. If the group is strong enough to get him fitter and tell him the truth – you are going to work as hard as we are son.” Holloway said. He also added “He has got some talent and I’ve invited him back.”
Holloway was impressed with the winger when he played in a inter-squad match on the weekend. “He created three chances the other day in the training game and we scored all three of them – Jimmy Abdou scored, Martyn Woolford scored and Lee Martin scored.”
When asked about the trial of former Fulham defender Matthew Briggs, Holloway said: “I’m sure he will still be here.” Leaving Lions fans to wait on a decision.
