Leeds United keeping tabs on prolific Cheltenham Town striker

Leeds United are keeping tabs on Cheltenham Town striker Mohamed Eisa, according to Gloucestershire Live.

The 23-year-old has impressed in League Two this season and has scored 23 league goals. A host of Premier League clubs are also said to be interested in a move for him as well as Leeds United.

Eisa joined Cheltenham Town last summer from non-league side Greenwich Borough. He had previously played for Dartford and Corinthian after playing with the Pro Touch Soccer Academy as a youngster.

The Sudanese forward was prolific last season for Greenwich Borough in the Isthmian League South Division and was snapped up Cheltenham in what now appears an inspired piece of business.

He is a target for Championship side Leeds United after adapting so well to life in the Football League. Cheltenham Town are apparently bracing themselves for bids in excess of £1 million for the prolific striker this summer.

Leeds boss Paul Heckingbottom is already plotting moves for the summer as he looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season. The Whites have also been heavily linked with a move for Crusaders winger Gavin Whyte, who has scored 21 goals in the Irish first division this season.

Eisa is still just 23 and has a bright future in the game ahead of him so would be a good signing for Leeds United but they will have to face competition to sign him.
