Hull City striker Adama Diomande is set to leave the Tigers with MLS set to become his new home.
According to ESPN, the striker is close to joining new side LAFC. Diomande is out of contract this summer and has chosen to move to MLS.
ESPN report that Diomande has already said his goodbyes at Hull City as the LA side are set to announce the capture of his signature this week.
The Norweigan international has been in and out of the Tigers side this season which has seen Hull finish closer to the bottom of the Sky Bet Championship than the top.
19 appearances in all competitions could suggest that he might not have been part of the long-plans of the East Yorkshire club going forwards. With this in mind, a move out of the club seems the most sensible option for the forward.
Following relegation from the Premier League last season, Diomande and his teammates have struggled to adapt to life in the Championship.
Diomande joined Hull in the summer of 2015 in a £2.5 million deal. His career at the Tigers has been very stop-start having only scored six goals in the sum total of his three years in Hull. One of his most known strikes was the opening goal in the Premier League season in a 2-1 shock win against then-Champions Leicester City.
