Nottingham Forest break season ticket sales records again

Nottingham Forest have again smashed their season ticket sales records with more fans having already purchased season cards for the 2018/2019 campaign than the number of season ticket holders recorded at the start of last season.

The Reds’ season ticket sales figures last term were the highest since the late 1990s and despite another campaign of relative disappointment at The City Ground, yet more fans will come out in force and back the club every game next season according to the latest reports from Forest’s official sources.

At the time when last season kicked off, it is believed that over 17,000 Forest fans had purchased season tickets including around 5,000 new season ticket holders. The season ticket sales total to date for the new season has not been revealed, however, it seems that the club have sold in excess of 17,000 season tickets once again with three months remaining until the start of the 2018/2019 campaign.

With season tickets being more popular than at any point in nearly two decades, Forest are extending their current early bird deadline by 48 hours. There is a real chance that the club could break the 20,000 sales barrier in the coming weeks.

Forest fans will be quietly confident for a more positive campaign next season. New manager Aitor Karanka has won promotion from the Sky Bet Championship in the past with former club Middlesbrough while he has outlined his plans to bring up to 10 new players to The City Ground this summer.
