Northampton Town are currently in a relegation battle and looking to avoid dropping into League Two. Dean Austin is in caretaker but there could be a new manager at the helm next season. Here are five updated candidates-
Graham Alexander- He was harshly sacked by Scunthorpe United in March despite them being 5th in League One. He has previously managed Fleetwood Town as well and deserves another chance in the Football League. He is a decent option for the Cobblers.
Kevin Wilkin- The 50-year-old spent five years as a player for Northampton from 1990-1995. Since retiring in 2006, he has managed Nuneaton Town, Wrexham and he has been manager of Brackley Town since 2015. He is in the running for a return to his former club.
