There is a host of talent in League One but some players haven’t had a chance to prove themselves in the Championship. Here are five League One players to should be given a chance in the Championship –

Erhun Oztumer – Deemed the “Turkish Messi” has worked his way up the football pyramid. He scored over 60 goals from midfield in all competitions over two seasons, during which time Dulwich won promotion to the Isthmian League Premier Division. He moved to Peterborough for an undisclosed fee in June 2014 and played 58 times over two seasons with Posh, scoring seven goals.

The diminutive attacking midfielder enjoyed an outstanding debut season for Walsall in 2016/17, finishing as top scorer with 15 goals. The creative schemer was named in the League One Team of the Year in 2016/17 and also received the division’s Goal of the Month award twice. He won the Saddlers’ Goal of the Season accolade for his wonder strike at Bolton and was voted Players’ Player of the Year by his teammates.
